A GRP profile is a composite profile in which glass fiber reinforces a polyester resin, pultruded at a constant cross-section. In short: a material that comes close to the strength of metal without rusting, light and non-conductive.
Continuous glass fiber rovings are drawn through a resin bath, cured as they pass through a heated die, and cut to the section required. This method is called pultrusion. The result is a profile of the same quality end to end, with repeatable mechanical properties.
