The channel (U) section is the most widely used composite profile, from structural systems to frames and connections. Corrosion resistant, lightweight and both electrically and thermally non-conductive. Pultruded by NA-ME Composite.

The U channel takes its name from the shape of its section: two side walls and a base joining them. That channel form uses material efficiently and delivers high bending and load capacity. Made as GRP or FRP it drops the rust and weight problems of steel; even in damp, salty and chemical environments it stays as it was on day one.
Treatment plant platforms, cable ducts, handrail and frame systems, facade supports and industrial racking are where the U channel turns up most often. Polyester resin and surface veil are selected against the UV, fire and chemical demands of the application.
