FRP Structural Shapes

Every pultruded profile NA-ME Composite makes is a constant cross-section drawn from a heated die. That single fact is what lets a structural shape behave the same way on its first meter and its last. This page brings the whole family together: what each section is good at, the standard sizes we hold, and where each one usually ends up on site.

The standard family

Six shapes cover the large majority of industrial work. Where they do not, we cut a die for the section your project needs.

How to pick a section

Three questions settle it almost every time. What load will it carry and over what span? How aggressive is the environment: chemicals, salt, moisture, UV? And does the job need electrical insulation? The answers point at a section, a resin system and a surface veil together, because on site those three arrive as one decision.

Why pultruded shapes rather than steel

A pultruded structural shape does not rust, weighs roughly a quarter of steel, and conducts neither electricity nor heat. In treatment plants, chemical sites, marine structures and solar plants, those three properties remove the maintenance cycle that steel brings with it.
